Sarah Schuster, Law Clerk

Sarah Schuster graduated from Loveland High School in 2015 and is now a second-year law student at the University of Cincinnati.  During her sophomore year in undergraduate studies at UC, Ms. Schuster spent a semester abroad studying Spanish in Costa Rica, where she lived with a host family. While studying abroad, she helped facilitate ESL (English as a Second Language) classes on campus. Ms. Schuster was also an active member of Campus Crusade Ministries during her undergraduate years at UC, and she regularly attends church service at Northstar Church in Loveland.  At UC Law School, she is a Structured Study Group Leader who facilitates weekly meetings for small groups of first year law students to address the unique challenges posed by attending law school. She anticipates taking the July 2022 Ohio Bar Exam to become licensed as an attorney. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer and being with family and friends.

Karen Wiehe, Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Karen Wiehe has been with Gertz Law Firm at our Loveland office location since April 2017.  She is a graduate of Mount Notre Dame High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University.  Mrs. Wiehe provides part-time office management and bookkeeping services for the Loveland office location.  She and her husband Mark currently reside in Loveland with their four children.  The Wiehe family holds membership at St. Columban Parish, where they have been active for years in the school and church community with coaching and volunteer efforts.  Mrs. Wiehe was very excited to join her sister, Susan Allspach, her father, Anthony J. Gertz and her brother, Anthony J. Gertz II, in the family business a few years ago. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, Power Ryde exercise, reading, and being with family and friends.  She can be reached directly at  513-583-1549 Ext. 16.

Janet Clark, Paralegal

Janet Clark has provided paralegal and administrative services at the Reading location of Gertz Law Firm since January, 1980.  She is a graduate of Sts. Peter and Paul Elementary School and Mount Notre Dame High School and attended the University of Cincinnati.  Mrs. Clark and her husband, Garry, reside in Maineville and have two children and two grandchildren.  Garry Clark was active in serving on the football coaching staff at Reading High School from 1985 to approximately 2010; the Clark’s son, Bud, joined Garry on the Reading football coaching staff in 1999.  Currently, the Clark Family holds membership at St. Philip the Apostle Parish in Morrow, Ohio.  Mrs. Clark is based at the Reading office and can be reached directly at 513-554-1868.

Juliana Spitzig, Paralegal

Juliana (“Julie”) Spitzig is a 2016 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where she earned a bachelor's degree in paralegal studies.  She joined Gertz Law Firm at the Reading location as a permanent member of our team following a three month internship with the firm in the same year.  Growing up in Dillonvale, Mrs. Spitzig attended Deer Park High School.  As a past longtime assistant manager at The Catholic Shop in Madeira, she is well versed in customer service and office management.  She currently resides in Oakley with her husband Joe, and they have five children and eight grandchildren.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, writing fiction, and attending local outdoor events.  The Spitzig family holds membership at St. Cecilia Parish in Oakley, where Mrs. Spitzig chaired the festival Bid and Buy Booth for over five years.  Mrs. Spitzig is the probate and estate planning paralegal for the Loveland office location and can be reached directly at 513-583-1549 (ext.) 17.

Kathleen Kircher, Paralegal

Kathleen ("Kathy") Kircher has been with Gertz Law Firm at our Loveland office location since October 2018 and has been a family law paralegal since 2011. She is a graduate of McAuley High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to earning her Paralegal degree, Kathy spent many years as a seamstress, specializing in bridal alterations and costuming, and volunteering for St. Xavier High School’s Marching Band and Theater Xavier.  She lives in Finneytown with her adult daughter and their three dogs, one of which is a Great Dane service dog for her daughter. Kathy holds membership and St. Bartholomew Church in Finneytown, Ohio. She can be reached directly at 513-583-1549 (ext.) 18.

Ashleigh Lindsey, Paralegal

Ashleigh Lindsey, a native of Marion, Ohio, began working at the Reading location of Gertz Law Firm in September of 2020.  She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2020 with a Bachelors of Science degree in criminal justice and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies. In her spare time, Ms. Lindsey enjoys coaching gymnastics on the west side of Cincinnati at the Gymnastics Center and spending time with her German Shepherd pup Maya, adopted this past March.  She plans to pursue law school in the future.
