The Gertz Family has a long history in Reading dating back to the 1880’s.
Anthony J. Gertz is the son of Charles and Marie Gertz. After running several Reading mayoral campaigns for his father, Charlie, and after working several years with the City of Reading as a Service Director, Anthony J. Gertz completed his legal studies and licensing and began his general law practice at the Pike Street office in 1972, as a sole practitioner. He continued with the same general practice at the same Reading location, while raising five children and serving as Mayor of the City of Reading from 1980 to 1992. He was extremely gratified when his daughter Susan and son Anthony II completed their legal studies and joined him in practice in 1995 and 2002, respectively.
In 2013, attorney Susan Gertz (now Allspach) married and built a home in Loveland, Ohio. Having served as Loveland’s City Solicitor from 1996 to 2000, Mrs. Allspach had established both professional and personal relationships in the Loveland community dating back to the late 1990’s. She opened a second location for Gertz Law Firm in Loveland in order to better serve our Clermont and Warren County clients.
